To help you stay on top of the latest topics and trends impacting the HR community, our organization provides monthly meetings, many of which qualify for HRCI credits. Special interest group meetings take place either quarterly or monthly, according to the preference of their members.

Support the SHRM Foundation and Invest in the Future of HR by Participating in our Tupperware Fundraiser -- Now Through October 15th

In 2009, NCHRA's donation to the SHRM Foundation reached the CEO’s Circle level (which means we raised between $1,000 and $2,499).  To continue to support the SHRM Foundation and to meet our chapter goal of once again being in CEO’s Circle, NCHRA is partnering with Tupperware for a TupperConnect Fundraiser.  This virtual fundraiser enables us to generate funds in an eco-friendly manner through connections both near and far!  40% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the SHRM Foundation. 

The following link,  http://tinyurl.com/33f2hs2, will let you view and purchase Tupperware products.  What's more, your participation will help us support an organization that provides the HR profession with a wide array of research grants, scholarships and educational resources.   

The charitable contributions received by the SHRM Foundation from SHRM chapters like NCHRA help to:

• Support innovations in HR research through the generous funding of academic grants (which equaled more than $300,000 in 2009 and more than $2.3 million over the past decade).
• Fund more than $170,000 in scholarships and awards. These scholarships provide much-needed financial support to our current and future HR colleagues who are seeking educational degrees and certifications.
• Produce new education titles in the Effective Practice Guidelines report and DVD series. These products make research finding, case studies and best practices easily accessible to HR practitioners – and are available for free to the entire HR community.
