NCHRA is a local chapter of the nationally recognized Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). SHRM celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1998. The mission and vision of the original founders of SHRM was that human resource management had the potential to affect people's lives and business operations in many ways. SHRM has become the prime provider of top-notch HR products and services and is recognized as the leader in connecting HR professionals with one another.
